Specialeyes Eyecare opticians is an independently owned Opticians with 3 practices across London.

After noticing the difference in service provided between different opticians, we decided to open an optician which provides the best service for all patients regardless of if they are NHS or private. Specialeyes Eyecare opticians was founded in 2012 when we opened our first branch in Willesden. From the start we focused on giving our patients a personalised service where they are free to ask questions and feel that they have an input in their eye care.

At Specialeyes Eyecare opticians we are constantly looking at innovative ways into improving our efficiency and patient care. With the new developments in the equipment available to opticians, we launched our on-site glazing lab. This improves our speed in providing conventional glasses to our patients, from approximately one week to as little as 15 minutes.

Specialeyes Eyecare Optician OCT Imaging

In 2015 we opened our second branch in the heart of Shepherds Bush Green. During this time a new technology emerged within the eye care field. This technology was called OCT imaging. It is a technology that allows us to take a 3-D picture of the back of the eye, also known as the retina. At the time it was mainly available in hospitals. We decided to invest in this equipment for the benefit of our patients. Not only that, we decided to provide this service at no extra cost! Because of this we now have one of the largest in-store databases of OCT images. We are also able to compare images from previous eye tests to see the progression of your eye health.
